Nirmala Convent School, Siliguri came into being on the 20th June 1994 in answer to the felt need of having girl's school in the town. The school had a modest beginning  with classes Nursery to I. It was affiliated to the Council of I.C.S.E. Examination in March 2002.
Nirmala Convent School, Siliguri is run by Missionary Sister's of the Immaculate (Nirmala Sisters) belonging to Siliguri Nirmala Vikas Samiti, a registered society under the Society Registration Act 1961.
Nirmala Convent School was permanently affiliated to the Council of Indian School Certificate examinations on May 26, 2003 and in the same year the permission was granted to introduce class XI and XII, In March 2006 the first batch of students appeared in ICS Examination.
It is a Catholic , private, Unaided Institution.
